Mrs. May
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with your child. It is going to be a year of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you’d like to know a little about me.
I am married to my husband, Mike. We have 2 sons, Tommy who is going into 10th grade, and Ryan is going into 7th grade. The boys have 2 furry brotherS named Sully and Henry. They are our rambunctious, lovable Boxers. My boys take up most of my free time, between school and sports. In any spare time I like to play with Sully and Henry, relax at the beach, and exercise.
I have lived in Little Egg Harbor for almost 11 years. We moved here from Bergen County in 2006. Most of my family also lives in town now too. My sister, step brother, and mom have all moved to LEH, so we have lots of family BBQs and get togethers.
This will be my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at GJM. I stayed home with my boys for a few years and before that I taught 2nd and 4th grade in Bergen County. I absolutely LOVE teaching Kindergarten! They say, “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning”. It is my mission to instill a love of learning in my students. I teach with a passion for every subject so that students will develop the desire to be life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open. I look forward to a great year!
